A specialist SEND school in Windsor is looking for an inspiring teacher to join their dedicated team from September. The school supports pupils aged 5–11 with complex communication needs, learning difficulties and social, emotional and behavioural challenges. About the role: • Deliver a differentiated and engaging primary curriculum designed around pupils’ individual learning profiles • Develop and implement personalised strategies to build pupils’ confidence, communication skills and independence • Collaborate daily with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals to provide consistent, holistic support • Use visual aids, sensory resources and assistive technology to enhance participation and learning • Support pupils in developing social skills and emotional regulation through structured activities and play-based approaches • Plan and lead small group interventions targeting literacy, numeracy or life skills • Contribute to pupil review meetings, providing detailed observations and progress updates • Promote a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and understood About you: ? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ? Experience teaching in primary or SEND settings – or a genuine passion to develop your expertise in this area ? Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with communication difficulties and challenging behaviours ? Patient, reflective and adaptable teaching style ? Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicating effectively with families What you’ll gain: ?
