Job Title: Primary Behaviour Support Assistant
Primary Behaviour Support Assistant | NW5 | Full-Time | September Start Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? Axcis Education is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the NW5 area that is looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant for a full-time role starting in September. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you'll help create a positive learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and able to succeed. Your responsibilities will include: Providing targeted 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Encouraging positive behaviour through consistency, encouragement, and clear boundaries Supporting children to develop emotional regulation and social skills Assisting pupils during lessons, transitions, and break times Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team, and parents where appropriate Recording progress and contributing to behaviour support plans We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEND Can remain calm and confident in challenging situations Builds positive relationships with children through patience and empathy Has experience in education, youth work, care, or a similar support role Is committed to making a lasting difference to children's wellbeing and development What the school offers: A welcoming and supportive primary school environment Ongoing guidance from experienced leadership and SEND staff Opportunities to develop behaviour support skills A rewarding role where you can make a real impact every day Role Details Full-time, Monday to Friday September start Primary school in NW5 Competitive daily pay based on experience Axcis Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
