Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – PMLD/Complex Needs

Contract: Full-Time | Immediate Start
Setting: All-through SEND School (ages 4–19)
Join a welcoming SEND school in Hendon supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs across primary, secondary, and post-16 phases. This full-time role is ideal for someone caring, proactive, and passionate about making a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils aged 4–19 with complex needs
Assist with sensory, communication, and structured learning activities
Provide personal care (toileting, feeding, mobility)
Help pupils access learning through practical, play-based, and therapeutic activities
Work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver consistent, tailored support
Create a positive, encouraging environment celebrating every achievement
Requirements:
Experience with PMLD, SLD, or complex SEND
Calm, patient, and adaptable
Confident delivering personal care and following care plans
Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils of all ages
Reliable, proactive, and keen to learn
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
