Job Title: Flexible Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant (Mainstream & Special Schools) Location: South Somerset (Flexible) Pay: £83 - £90 per day Job Type: Temporary/Day-to-Day Supply Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Axcis are seeking flexible and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day supply basis across mainstream and special schools. This role offers a fantastic chance to gain experience in different environments, support pupils of all abilities, and develop your skills in both general and 1:1 settings. Key Responsibilities: • Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils in both mainstream and special schools. • Assist students with additional needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). • Adapt to different classrooms and year groups, ensuring a positive learning environment. • Support pupils with their learning, personal care (where necessary), and emotional wellbeing. • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools. • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
