Job Title: Office Manager Location: Bradford Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only + 5 Days Salary: 25,971- £28,213, Actual Salary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Bradford. The school is part of a large academies trust that currently consists of fourteen academies, including a specialist setting for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The trust has an excellent reputation within Bradford and beyond. As Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the school office. You will work closely with staff, pupils, and parents, delivering high-quality administrative support to all departments. You will be the key point of contact for the school and will be required to foster good relationships, both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Lead an administrative team in providing comprehensive support services to staff, students, and parents. Oversee the efficient functioning of the administrative office and ensure exceptional support is provided to colleagues and senior leaders. Manage complex data and ensure that school systems are consistently up to date. Maintain critical school records and databases, ensuring confidentiality is upheld while meeting statutory responsibilities, including those to external organizations such as the DfE. Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring financial transactions are compliant with policies and procedures, and seeking value for money in purchases. Assist in HR and recruitment processes, including the recruitment of temporary and supply staff. Essential Requirements: Minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills, including telephone and reception etiquette. Proven experience in supervising or managing staff. Experience in a senior-level school office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and complex databases, with strong IT skills. Fluency in English at an advanced level.
