Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Skelmersdale who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their nursery provision on a long-term basis. Role Details: • Working Thursday and Friday each week • Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm • Pay: From £13.69 per hour About the Role: You will be supporting children in the school’s nursery setting, providing a mix of 1:1 support and small group work. Some pupils may have additional needs and could be in the process of receiving a diagnosis. Personal care will be required as part of this role. Requirements: • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting • Experience working with EYFS children is highly desirable • Previous SEND experience is preferred • A caring, patient, and proactive approach • An enhanced DBS on the update service (Axcis can support with a new application if required) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA looking for a consistent, part-time role within an EYFS environment.
