Job Title: Midday Superviser
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Chiswick is seeking a dedicated and caring Midday Supervisor to join their team, supporting pupils during the lunchtime period. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the school community, ensuring that all children have a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience. Hours: 11:30am – 1:30pm (Monday to Friday, term time only) The school caters to both mainstream and SEN (Special Educational Needs) pupils, and the successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate patience, empathy, and an understanding approach towards all children. The role involves supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas of the school, promoting positive play and good behaviour, and helping to create a welcoming, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise pupils during lunch and playtime, both indoors and outdoors. Encourage good manners, healthy eating, and positive social interaction. Support children with SEN to ensure they are fully included and supported. Promote and model positive behaviour in line with school policies. Respond calmly and effectively to any minor incidents or first aid needs. Work collaboratively with other members of the lunchtime team. The ideal candidate will: Enjoy working with children and have a warm, approachable manner. Be reliable, punctual, and committed to ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing. Be able to adapt to different needs and situations with understanding and care. Have experience working in a school or childcare environment (desirable but not essential). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work part-time during school hours, perhaps as a first step into education or to fit around other commitments.
