Job Title: Maternity Cover, SEND Teacher Location: Greenford, Ealing Contract: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Salary: Dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP Axcis are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team for maternity cover at a SEND primary school in Greenford, Ealing. The school caters to pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties (SLD/PMLD), many of whom also have autism. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can achieve their full potential. As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties and autism across various age groups. You will plan and deliver tailored lessons and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the diverse needs of the students, while assessing and tracking their progress. This will include preparing review reports and attending meetings with parents and professionals to ensure each student’s needs are met. Additionally, you will lead and support the class team in delivering high-quality personal care and behavior management, working within the school’s policies. Collaboration with education, health, and social care professionals will be a key part of your role, ensuring an integrated approach to each pupil’s educational and personal development. To succeed in this role, you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND, particularly PMLD, SLD, and autism.
