Axcis are working with a mainstream primary school in Darlaston seeking a 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant to start in September, however an earlier start is available to help imbed you in the school this current academic year working with a separate child. This 1-to-1 will be working in the school’s reception class with a child who is autistic and non-verbal. You will need to be proactive and enjoy the challenge of working with the SENCo & teacher to ensure that the needs of the child is met. Previous experience working with individuals with SEND needs is required and we are happy to accept applicants from residential, care, support work or similar professions.
