Learning Support Worker
Are you a recent graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in education? Axcis Education is partnering with a specialist school in Cardiff to find a compassionate and dedicated Graduate Learning Support Worker to join their team.
As a Learning Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs on a 1:1 basis. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Assisting students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.
• Supporting students with personal care and mobility needs.
• Helping students develop life skills and independence.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualised learning plans.
We’re seeking individuals who:
• Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Are eager to learn and develop professionally in an educational setting.
