About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing support both in and out of the classroom. The role will involve a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions, helping students overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence, independence, and resilience. You will work closely with teaching staff, the SEND team, and pastoral colleagues to ensure students receive the support they need to engage positively with school life. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs Help students access the curriculum and remain engaged in lessons Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Adapt learning activities under the direction of teaching staff Build positive relationships with students and act as a trusted adult Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and families Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing at all times Who We're Looking For: A patient, caring, and proactive individual Experience working with children or young people (education, care, coaching, youth work, or similar) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed Why Apply?
