Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Stockport Primary School
Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: Full-time (Term time only)
Pay Rate: £95.00 - £130 experience dependant
Axcis Education is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Stockport, seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This rewarding role is perfect for candidates passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and/or autism, helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs and/or autism.
- Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere for the child, addressing their individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to enhance learning experiences.
- Support other students as needed to maintain a positive classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience or strong interest in working with children with SEMH needs and/or autism.
- Empathetic, patient, and adaptable to the unique needs of each child.
- Effective communication skills to work well with students, teachers, and parents.
