Job Title: ICT Network Leader
ICT Network Leader – Full-Time

Axcis Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking school in East London to recruit an experienced and proactive ICT Network Leader. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025, offering a competitive salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per year.
About the Role:
As ICT Network Leader, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s entire IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing the network systems, hardware, software, and ensuring the smooth operation of ICT services across the school. You will lead a small team and provide technical support and strategic planning to meet the school’s evolving ICT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the school’s ICT network, servers, and systems
Provide technical support to staff and students
Oversee software updates, backups, and data security
Lead on IT strategy, budgeting, and procurement in collaboration with senior leadership
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies
Supervise and support ICT support staff
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar ICT leadership or network management role
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and IT security
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in an educational setting is desirable
Relevant qualifications in IT/networking (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA)
Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
