Job Title: HLTA SEND
Axcis Education is working in partnership with a Specialist Support High School in Stockport to recruit a committed Level 4 SEN Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, long term position starting September 2025.
This inclusive and well-resourced school supports young people aged 11–19 with a range of complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The school offers a nurturing environment with high staff-to-pupil ratios and a focus on tailored support.
The main purpose of the role is that you will support the Co-Headteachers to ensure that all Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Reviews are completed and ensure draft plans are returned to the local authority in the statutory timescale.
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent); HLTA status preferred
- Experience working with pupils with complex SEND
- Strong communication and admin skills
