Pay: £13.69 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: Temporary with potential to become permanent

We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in central Bristol. The school features a dedicated SEND Resource Base and a Forest School, offering a nurturing setting where children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can learn and grow through personalised and nature-based experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Foster a calm, consistent, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and support teams
• Respond proactively to behavioural needs with empathy and care
What We're Looking For:
• Experience working with children with SEND (especially ASD) is highly desirable
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Confident in managing challenging behaviours constructively
• We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have Experience In: Nurseries, youth clubs, residential/care homes, or colleges
• Personal experience supporting someone with SEND
• Degrees in psychology, sociology, sport, drama, art, or music

• Both full-time and part-time roles available
• Working hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Competitive hourly rate: £13.69
