Full - Time Teaching Assistant, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Support, Birmingham.
I am currently looking for a full - time teaching assistant to work in a pupil referral unit, alternative provisions and 1-1 in mainstream schools in the Birmingham area. This candidate will be working with ages between the ages of 7-11 years old, the right candidate will have Team Teach and available to work full - time, for 4 weeks. This role is perfect for someone who has experience working with children who have social, emotional and mental health.
This is a medium sized primary school (two form entry), has a large staff car park and based on a main road. There are two other teaching assistants you will be working full - time with, mainly in a group of five children. Ofsted has rating this primary school as "excellent".
The successful candidate for this full - time teaching assistant role must have Team Teach and management of actual or potential aggression is preferred but not essential. At least a year in a care or classroom is setting is also preferred but don't be afraid to apply this is not a requirement.
