Job Title: Full Time SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis is currently looking for several teaching assistants who have SEND experience in working with one, or all of the following: -Autism -ADHD -Challenging Behaviour The perfect teaching assistant candidates will be able to work 1:1 with children in both the primary and secondary years and will need to be resilient, strong-minded, and have a can-do attitude. The role includes: Mentoring students, helping them both academically and socially. supporting students on a 1:1 basis, assisting them with day-to-day tasks. Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials. Set up and tidy classrooms at the beginning and end of the day. Take notes of students progress and report this to the teacher on a weekly basis. We need teaching assistants to work in a number of our schools in in Harrow. Please respond if you are interested and available to start as soon as possible.
