Job Title: Full-time, Learning Support Assistant, Long-term, Smethwick
We are working with a mainstream primary setting in Smethwick seeking a learning support assistant (LSA) to work in their amazing fit-for-purpose SEND hub, this role is to cover academic year starting September 2025, however they are happy to have the right candidate start earlier if available.
This school has fantastic facilities and put a real emphasis on staff wellbeing, having a very caring & understanding SLT who put the children at the front of everything they do.
This role will be working in a small hub with an additional two SEN TAs and a class teacher. You will be working Monday to Friday during term-time only, 08:30 to 3:30 during term-time only.
Previous experience working with children with SEND needs is required for a minimum of 3 months, and formal teaching assistant qualifications, whilst useful is not required to be considered as the school wishes to ensure they also find the right fit to supplement their team.
This role will pay a week in arrears (every Friday) via PAYE payment at a rate starting from £89 p/d dependent on experience and length of service in-school
