Job Title: Full-Time Learning Mentor
Axcis Education is looking for dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join a unique, full-time role supporting young people who need it most.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (No weekends!)
Must be a driver with business insurance (or willing to obtain it)
Why This Role is Exciting:
This is not your typical classroom job! You’ll be working 1:1 with students in a small learning environment, based in office blocks rather than a school. You’ll also accompany students to outreach programmes, hospital appointments, internships, and exciting trips to museums, play parks, adventure parks, and more!
About the Students:
All pupils have been referred by the council, either as school leavers or from traumatic backgrounds such as care or foster settings. Each student has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), and you’ll work alongside the teacher to support their academic, emotional, and social development.
What We’re Looking For:
We value both personal and professional experience in supporting young people. If you’re nurturing, resilient, and consistent, you’ll be a fantastic fit!
Requirements:
-A car and willingness to obtain business insurance
-Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
-Minimum Grade C in GCSE Maths & English
-Passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
Pay: £83 - £90 per day
Interviews happening ASAP! Apply now before opportunities are gone!
