Axcis are working with a lovely school in the Bolton area who are looking for a teaching assistant to work in an EYFS class. You will be working in a mainstream primary school supporting the teacher within a group class setting of around 7 pupils with challenging behaviour. You must have transferable skills to adapt to the role with children with SEND. The school is well- known for its can- do attitude for every individual child to exceed their full potential. The role has an immediate start working from 8:30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday on a temporary full-time basis. Duties- Assisting the teacher with set work and activities. Working within the guidelines of the schools’ values and regulations. Be able to de-escalate challenging behaviour. Remain calm and patient and have an understanding of the children’s needs.
