Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early learning journey? Do you have a nurturing and patient approach? We are looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a vibrant primary school in the Cheadle area of Stockport. This is a full-time role on an ongoing basis, the school is looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant looking for a school with a strong community spirit. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons - Assisting children with day-to-day activities, helping them grow in confidence and independence - Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment - Working closely with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Requirements - Experience of working with individuals with SEND needs – Desirable - Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – Essential - Minimum of 2 good references – Essential - Experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework - Essential If you’re ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, we’d love to hear from you!
