Job Title: Experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education work with a nurturing and inclusive academy in Rugby, for learners with Autism and those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. This school cater for children between the ages of 7 and 19 (learners currently transition at 16). You will be expected to: - Report to the Class Teacher or in their absence the Higher Level Teaching Assistant. - Be responsible for the support and delivery of teaching and learning at key stages 2, 3, 4 and post 16. - Model best practice and provide effective communication surrounding lesson requirements. - Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to successfully contribute to the delivery of the vision, ethos, aims and objectives of the academy. - Enable successful learning and achievement by young people and sustained improvement in their spiritual, moral, social, cultural, mental and physical well-being in preparation for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. The pay for a SEND Teaching Assistant starts from £95.29 minimum per day and is in-keeping with the experience of each individual candidate.
