My client cater for students who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons, predominantly permanent exclusion. Due to the nature of the provision and the range of students’ needs, students join and leave at different points throughout the school year. They work with many different groups of primary aged pupils : • Pupils that have been fixed term or permanently excluded from school • Pupils that are at risk of permanent exclusion • Pupils with an identifiable special need which does not require a statement of Special Educational as well as pupils that are unable to attend school for medical reasons • Pupils who require additional support in school • Students that have moved in Hillingdon and are without an immediate school place They are now looking for an Enrichment Officer to join their team. Your main responsibility will be to build professional working relationships with the primary SEMH students at the school. You will be tasked with ensuring that students are in lesson and encouraging students to go back into lesson when they have walked/stormed out. A lot of your time will be spent walking around the school to ensure that students are where they should be! This is a very active role, as majority of your day will be spent walking around the school grounds ( perfect opportunity to get your steps in !). Your main responsibility will be to build professional relationships with the students who have social emotional mental health. This role will be perfect for someone who is not easily offended ( students often use colourful language) and has a very welcoming personality. If you consider yourself to be a people-person who can adapt to new environments, then this is the role for you ! You will work Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.45pm ( 4 days a week). £100 per day.
