We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in North West London for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs. While QTS is not required, applicants must have proven experience teaching within Early Years (EYFS) and a strong understanding of child development.
The Role:
Lead and manage an Early Years class within a specialist SEND setting
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with EYFS framework
Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language needs, SEMH, and developmental delays
Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders
Monitor progress and adapt provision to meet individual EHCP targets
The Ideal Candidate:
Has substantial experience teaching in Early Years (essential)
Has experience working with children with SEND (highly desirable)
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
Is patient, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach
Understands safeguarding and inclusive practice
This role would suit an experienced Early Years practitioner, unqualified teacher, or overseas-trained teacher with strong EYFS experience and a passion for SEND.
