Axcis Education have a very high demand of SEND Teaching assistants in the Exeter area that MUST be drivers and available Monday -Friday. Your role will be a 1-1 Teaching Assistant working with a student on a 1-1 basis. You will be working at the school but also in the community with your student. Within this role you will have your training fully provided, experience with SEND/children is ideal but not essential. The school is an alternative provision giving students the opportunity for a more creative and reflective education, as mainstream schooling for multiple reasons has not met the students needs. Alternative provisions have community projects outside the provision which you must transport the child to and from. These pupils have a range of SEND including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, complex trauma. Most importantly you need to be outgoing, reliable, adaptable and resilient. Business insurance will be required if you are successful in the job. Once again you MUST be a driver.
