The role will be supporting students with Autism and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Needs on a 1:1 basis so experience supporting individuals with similar needs is essential. There may also be occasions where you will be required to work as a general classroom TA so confidence in this role will be key. The school is keen to find someone with a good understanding of SEND and who is positive, kind and proactive. Working hours for this role are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay is £93.48. Key Responsibilities include: - Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment that focuses on the wellbeing of the students - Adapting the school work to the needs and academic ability of the individual students - Effectively minimising and handling meltdowns, outbursts and disruptive behaviour Requirements for this role include a passion for supporting students with SEND, strong communication and written English skills, Right to Work in UK.
