Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Middleton, Rochdale. This is an immediate start opportunity and is expected to continue into the new academic year, providing ongoing support for a pupil who will be entering Year 6 in September. The successful candidate will work closely with the pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping to manage behavioural needs, promote engagement with learning, and support positive social and emotional development throughout the school day. Requirements: - Experience working with children or young people with behavioural, social and emotional needs. - A calm, patient and resilient approach. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - The ability to remain positive and proactive in challenging situations. - Previous experience in a school, youth work, care or support setting is desirable.
