Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Axcis Education is currently working with several schools in the Leeds area seeking to recruit individuals with experience in Residential Children’s Homes, Youth and Community Work, or Sports backgrounds, particularly those experienced in working with children and young people with challenging behaviour. This role involves supporting students who are unable to attend school due to various unavoidable circumstances. You will be responsible for helping them keep up with their studies. As a Behaviour Support Worker with Axcis, you should be confident in working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will possess strong behaviour management skills with up to date team teach training, demonstrate empathy, and have excellent communication skills. If you have experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs, we would love to hear from you. At Axcis Education, we expect our candidates to be flexible in their approach to work, so availability between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm is desirable. We offer very competitive daily rates, ranging from £85.00 to £105.00 per day, depending on experience. A valid DBS registered on the DBS Update Service is essential.
