My client is a large and friendly special needs school who work with students who have needs that fall between the moderate and severe categories. Situated in Exeter with good bus links. They have an innovative, pupil-focused approach to education. They are currently seeking a full-time teaching assistant to join their secondary team at their college site to support students who display challenging behaviour and are diagnosed with complex needs. The ideal candidate will: - Use their personal or professional experience of supporting people with additional needs to inform their approach to in-class support; - Work flexibly, and be happy to be moved around in class complete extra duties when asked; - Be reliable and ready to arrive on time every day, 5 days per week; - Respond proactively to issues as they arise, and continue to think about new strategies to improve the pupils' experience.
