Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School | North London | Immediate Start
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support a secondary school in North London until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting young people with additional behavioural or emotional needs in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small group behavioural support to students
Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour
Helping students engage positively with learning and school routines
Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SEN staff
Promoting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
Building strong, professional relationships with students
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, or similar role
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Experience supporting students with SEMH or behavioural needs
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Able to commit until the end of the academic year
