Behaviour Mentor – SEMH Support – Secondary – Tower Hamlets From £94/day | Tower Hamlets | Immediate Start | Long-Term | Full-Time Axcis are pleased to be supporting a modern and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets, seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to join their growing SEMH team. With a Good Ofsted rating and a strong reputation for pastoral care, the school offers a restorative, relationship-led approach that allows vulnerable students to thrive. The school is located close to the DLR, Overground and key bus routes, making it ideal for commuters across East and Central London. In this role, you will be: • Providing 1:1 SEMH mentoring for students experiencing behaviour challenges, anxiety, trauma or low confidence. • Supporting small-group sessions focusing on emotional regulation, social skills and motivation. • Using restorative conversations to rebuild trust and re-engage students with their learning. • Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, including transitions, unstructured times and intervention spaces. • Liaising with the SENCO, pastoral team and family workers to ensure joined-up support. What we’re looking for: • Experience supporting young people with SEMH, PRU backgrounds or challenging behaviour. • Strong de-escalation skills and a calm, grounded presence. • A positive role model who can build trust, set boundaries and motivate students. • Someone passionate about youth development, pastoral support or therapy pathways.
