We believe in the potential of every child and are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Dagenham. Your role will be pivotal in supporting students with their emotional and behavioural development.
Role Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive framework that helps students thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students facing behavioural challenges.
Develop and implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour and self-regulation.
Work alongside teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff and parents.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioural difficulties, is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development and effective behaviour management techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with diverse learners.
