Autism & ADHD Support Assistant – Coventry (Willenhall Area) Location: Coventry – Willenhall area Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week Axcis Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in the Willenhall area of Coventry. The focus is on supporting pupils with autism and ADHD across EYFS and Key Stage 1. We welcome applicants with experience in neurodiversity support, classroom assistance, or early years care. The Role: You will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with attention, sensory and social communication needs. • Use structured strategies, visual resources and behaviour routines to help with engagement. • Build confidence and help pupils transition through daily routines and learning tasks. • Work in close collaboration with class teachers and SEND team. • Create a calm and inclusive classroom environment. About You: • Experience working with autistic pupils, ADHD or children with behavioural needs. • Calm, patient, and confident using clear and consistent strategies. • Passionate about inclusion and pupil wellbeing. • Familiar with early years or KS1 is desirable.
