Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and inclusive mixed-gender primary school in Wimbledon is seeking a committed and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated SEN provision team from 1st September. This is a full-time, term-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), helping them to access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Requirements:
Experience supporting children with ASD and ADHD, ideally within a primary school setting
A strong understanding of SEN best practices, with a calm, nurturing, and flexible approach
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive academically and personally
