Job Title: ASD Primary Support Staff
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEND? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team in supporting primary-aged students with ASD in the Merton area. Position: ASD Primary Support Staff Location: Merton Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support for children with ASD, focusing on both verbal and non-verbal communication • Address and manage sensory needs to create a conducive learning environment • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualised education plans • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Requirements: • Experience working with children with ASD is preferred • Understanding of sensory needs and strategies to address them • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children’s development Benefits: • Competitive salary - £14.66 per hour • Free lunch provided • Professional development opportunities • Supportive team environment If you are enthusiastic about working with children with ASD and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
