We are seeking dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to support young people aged 11–16 within a specialist Alternative Provision setting. This provision supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping students overcome barriers to learning through a nurturing, structured, and trauma-informed approach. The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant As an Alternative Provision TA, you will support students both academically and emotionally, helping them engage positively with education and develop confidence, resilience, and social skills. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils with additional behavioural and emotional needs.
