We are looking for 2 long-term SEND teaching assistants to start immediately in a SEND school in Bromsgrove. These roles are working full-time, Monday to Friday during term-time only. At Axcis, we have worked with this school on a long-term basis and have secured many staff permanent roles in-schools and we are now seeking to add 2 long-term SEND teaching assistants to the family which this school has created. Role 1: You will be working in the early years department starting from age 5. This is a fit for purpose area, which is designed for the children to get as much sensory interaction as possible and be able to support them in their learning & development. Although the curriculum is very basic, TA’s from support work backgrounds, primary or nursery backgrounds would be very good fits! Role 2: You will be working in the post-16 department. The students have a range of SEND needs, some of which can be quite complex. You will be getting into the community, including using public transport and using school transport. Focus will be on progressing the young people into post-education life and being able to get as much from life as possible. This is highly rewarding and would be well suited to a support worker, residential support worker or individual from similar background. You will be paid on a weekly basis on a rate starting from £95.29 per day, dependent on skills & experience. This will be discussed at point of interview with us.
