Job Title: 1:1 Support - Specialist School - Stockport - Manchester
Axcis Education are operating on behalf of a wonderful Residential SEND Provision in Stockport, Manchester. They are seeking to appoint a SEND experienced Teaching Assistant, to support a little boy who has SEMH, and also Learning Difficulties, so experience of supporting pupils with these additional educational needs are imperative. The school cater specifically to pupils who reside on site, and all pupils will have rather complex SEND needs. This is an opportunity for someone who prides themselves in being a positive role model and behaviour mentor, in order to give these children the positive learning journey they deserve. Requirements: • Have experience of working with SEN children, young people, parents and families, preferably within an educational context • Have the ability to demonstrate a good level of oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail • Have a sense of humour and the ability to be able to multi-task with energy and enthusiasm. • Have a child and adult DBS registered on the update service or be prepared to get on in to process.
