Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Role: Temporary with potential for Permanent Experience: School and care experience required As a SEND Teaching Assistant in our school, you'll be a crucial support for both primary and secondary students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD). Key Responsibilities: Providing personalized support to SEND students across primary and secondary levels. Assisting with implementing tailored education plans and behaviour strategies. Helping students access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities. Creating a safe, inclusive environment for all students. Collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to meet students' diverse needs. Requirements: Previous school experience is a must. Care experience with SEND individuals is necessary.
