Special Needs Teacher needed, London, UK | Amsterdam | SEN Teacher Jobs
We are currently recruiting for a lovely SEND school based in Hackney that is an all age, modern, vibrant special school catering for the needs of students who have a wide range of learning difficulties, moderate, severe, profound and complex. A number of the pupils also have an autism spectrum condition (ASC).
The school is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Teacher to join a supportive team of professionals who are committed to raising standards and using innovative ways of enhancing the learning experience of the pupils.
The role will be to work with KS3/4 pupils and will be cross curriculum.
You will be responsible for a class group supported by Teaching Assistants and Speech Therapists. All Teachers are expected to lead an area of the curriculum in a phase of the School.
We are keen to attract Teachers who can demonstrate an optimistic and aspirational attitude towards our pupils. Although it is desirable that you possess some prior experience of working with pupils with special educational needs, we are also keen for Teachers who may not possess all the skills as yet, but could bring to us a positive can-do approach and we will train you in the appropriate techniques and strategies.
The role will be to start in May 2018.
