Job Description: As a Primary Teacher at a SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in helping the students overcome their unique challenges. Your responsibilities will include: • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. • Building strong relationships with students, fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment. • Collaborating with the school's multi-disciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and counsellors, to develop personalised education plans. • Tracking and reporting on students' progress, adjusting instructions as necessary. • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional development in the classroom. • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. • Experience working with students with SEMH needs. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Adaptability and a compassionate approach to teaching.
