JOB TITLE / ROLE:
English intervention HLTA/teacher needed in a secondary school in South Bristol - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Do you have a passion for working with students with low literacy levels? Here at Axcis, we have an opportunity to work with a diligent team at a truly inspirational school in the South Bristol area. Our client is a large, mixed, comprehensive secondary school with a new resource base and an established unit for students at risk of exclusion. The post would include responsibility for teaching a low level literacy class in each key stage three year group, working with students who have a variety of needs. In addition, one to one literacy work with key stage four students may be required. Furthermore, the task of running speech and language groups would also be required, as well as thorough and regular communication with speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative HLTS or teacher who is interested in helping students, especially those with SEND, to achieve their personal best and giving them the same opportunities as their peers.
If you are passionate about 'closing the gap' for some of the most vulnerable and interesting students, then please contact Emma Preece at Axcis Education on 0117 373 6127.
